Visits from those we love.
Scott & Jaymie stayed with us for a few days on their way to California. Unfortunately I didn't take the standard family photo, but have lots of pics of the cousins together.
We're so happy that our sweet friends the Hoopers moved back to the USA after quite a few years of being ex-pats in China.
And we're happy that they vacation in Central Oregon where we get time together.
Time flies when you are with good friends...even if it's been 16 years since we've been together. So great to have the Kildal family stop over with us on their move back to Oregon!
The boys had a great week while cousin Franklin stayed with us. They only wished he lives here too! Always great to have Sharon and Franklin come to town.
I love that my Aunt Jeri drove all the way from OC to travel the northwest and take in the Sister Quilt show. Glad that I had a few days of hosting her at my house. Love you Aunt Jeri!
Our home is full of squeals and laughter and noise whenever these wonderful friends come to visit. We wished they lived closer!!!! We love you Ibrahims!
Tina & I met in high school when she was a star athlete on my dads basketball & volleyball teams. She & her parents have kept in touch all these years, even prior to Facebook. It was so fun to have her surprise my dad with a visit to Bend! We barely managed to get him here without telling, but we pulled it off.
Parting is such sweet sorrow. We are so sad our dear friends are moving far away out of state. They've been our adventure partners for many, many months.
Sweet Em and handsome Mikhal were quite sorrowful at our farewells this afternoon.
Loved having Axel & Shawna come for a quick visit. Mikey was thrilled to get private ski lessons from such a superstar instructor. Can't wait for them to return.
Dacarie & Devon stopped in on their way home from Montana. Dacarie is the boys bestest girl ever! They ask for her still, and we wish she was with us. We miss her soooo much!
Having this family spend time with us is a houseful of fun! We are blessed that God has given us a friendship that spans the miles.
We met up with the Rinks at Sun River and had a crazy fun afternoon riding bikes with the kids. Mostly. But thats a long story and you can figure it out looking at 5 kids age 4-7.
We always love spending time with the Carter family! Life is full of adventure and fun: riding bikes, kayaks, canoes, or roasting marshmallows. It's all good...and never enough!
Denise stopped in with Damaris and Jake on their way to Grandma Charlene's to get Riah. Our kids love being together as much as we do.
Miss Jacque and her husband Gene made a visit with the boys who absolutely adored her as their preschool teacher in Klamath.
Doug & Grace are friends from Klamath who we met in a Bible study. Doug is a hoot and Grace is full of wisdom; together they are a fabulous couple!
The boys are always thrilled when grandpa and grandma come to visit. Lots of great times. We're definitly sad when its time to say goodbye.
